Dereham Forge Housing Co-Operative
Was designed in 1988 to help ease the housing shortage in the Tillsonburg area. "Dereham Forge" was the original name of the small agricultural community founded by George Tilson in 1825. In 1836, the village was renamed Tillsonburg in honour of it's founder.

The co-operative is situated at the north end of the town of Tillsonburg, bordering on Highway #19 and Quarter Town Line Road. The complex features 40 two, three and four bedroom units, including two units designed to be wheelchair accessible. The landscaping, children's play area and the on-site community centre create an attractive community setting for this unique style of living.
